Ladies and Gentlemen, I hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but Adobe has messed up yet again. Their latest Photoshop update is beyond evil. The Adobe Support Community is full to the brim with complaints: the Pen tool lags, the Magic Wand lags, Photoshop crashes without warning, custom keyboard shortcuts disappear etc. What's even worse, they've seriously botched Actions and Scripts. You can't record and run the Magic Wand anymore due to some serious bug, and it means that one of my bestseller actions packs, The Automatic Isolaton, doesn't work. It's broken.
Adobe has acknowledged the bug, and they're currently looking into it, but it's been two weeks already, and there's no fix and not even a promise of a fix.
If I were you, I would avoid the latest update like the plague.
I'm sorry about the inconvenience, but there's nothing I can do with it on my side since the whole Magic Wand recording and playing process is broken and isn't functioning at the moment. The only solution is to roll back to the previous version.
UPD: The latest update to Photoshop version 22.5.1 has fixed the issue. It took Adobe about a month.
